Today is the FINAL DAY to submit applications for the FY2012 CoC Program Competition.
Applications must be completed and submitted in e-snaps no later than today, January 18, 2013, 7:59:59 p.m., Eastern Time. Please allow ample time to complete your CoC Application and DO NOT wait until the last minute to submit. HUD strongly recommends that CoCs submit their applications by noon today. See
Section IV of the FY2012 CoC Program NOFA for application submission and timely receipt requirements.
In FY2012 the CoC Consolidated Application is a 2 PART SUBMISSION! Both parts of the Consolidated Application MUST be submitted in e-snaps by the application deadline in order for the application to be considered complete:

CoC Project Priority Listings (includes all applicable Project Applications)
Collaborative Applicants must print a copy of the Submission Summary from
both the CoC Application and CoC Priority Listings prior to closing their internet browser after the CoC Application and CoC Priority Listings have been submitted to HUD as this is the Collaborative Applicant’s receipt of submission and proof of compliance with the application deadline.
HUD has 426 CoCs that registered during the CoC Registration process. As of today, January 18, 2013, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time:

291 CoCs have submitted BOTH the CoC Application AND CoC Project Priority Listings – 68 percent of the CoCs fully completed the application process and submitted both parts of the application

25 CoCs have submitted ONLY the CoC Project Priority Listings

1 CoC has submitted ONLY the CoC Application
There are 2 separate “Submission Summary” pages in e-snaps. One “Submission Summary” will be the last page of the CoC Application and one “Submission Summary” will be the last page of the CoC Project Priority Listings.

CoCs, Collaborative Applicants, and project applicants that require information and technical support regarding the FY2012 CoC Competition may submit an electronic inquiry to the
HUD HRE Virtual Help Desk.
The Virtual Help Desk will respond only to emergency technical support questions up to the competition deadline of January 18, 2013, 7:59:59 p.m., Eastern Time.
Any VHD questions related to the CoC Program Competition, policies, and the NOFA will not be answered as the deadline for submission of those questions was last Friday, January 11, 2013. HUD has resolved most outstanding VHD questions; however, it should be noted that some of the open questions are policy related and will require further guidance and review by HUD. These questions will be moved to the CoC Program Policy VHD.
The policy issues will not preclude you from submitting a timely application.
