Martin Luther King Lesson PlansDr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Legacy of Racial and Social Justice: A Curriculum for Empowerment, is a teacher’s resource guide that provides activities for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

This educational curriculum was developed by The Alonzo Crim Center for Excellence in Urban Education at Georgia State University. The curriculum focuses on building students’ current civil rights knowledge, and helping them to compare present-day realities to past struggles for justice in America and throughout the world.

The format of this curriculum is divided into 5 major sections:

    Advanced TESOL certification focuses on methods and approaches to teaching English to non-native English speakers and creating English as a second language lesson plans. Included is an optional online teaching internship which allows participants to gain practical teaching experience. Additionally included is optional job placement teaching English abroad.

    Earn College Credit and Teach English with American TESOL Institute The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for TESOL certification with American TESOL Institute.

    The American Council on Education, the major coordinating body for all the nation’s higher education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.
