2013

We're almost a month into 2013 and I hope it is treating you well!! I know for me, this year has already proven to be much different than 2012.

Filming got pushed on the project that I booked, so unfortunately that means I will have to delay any announcements with more details on it. Hopefully in March I will be able to tell you more so you can celebrate even more with me. I've been training my body to play the role with some intense workouts and martial arts. The good thing is that the filming delay gives me some time to complete a couple feature scripts I'm working on, one is a drama and the other is a comedy.

I'll be shooting new headshots in a couple weeks and am on the search for new representation for my growing career. In my next newsletter, I'll share the new photos with you and am excited for you to see my longer hair!

I love spicy food!! And right now with training for my next acting role I have been really conscious of what I am eating. Growing up eating mostly Asian food, I loved dried seaweed. It's naturally an alkaline-forming food, which means it's good for you! One of my favorite things to snack on is Annie Chun's Roasted Wasabi Seaweed. It's low in calories, has a great kick to it with the spicy wasabi and comes in packs that I can throw in my bag on the way out the door. Seaweed isn't everyone's favorite flavor, but if it's up your alley, I definitely recommend you try it!

With Love,
Joanna
