Quote of the week:
“Do what makes you happy, be with who makes you smile, laugh as much as you breathe, and love as long as you live.” ― Rachel Ann Nunes
Featured Jumper of the week: Yuritzi Bojôrquez!
Yuritzi Bojôrquez ... From: Mexico. Live: Canada. Work: I am a nanny.
Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: Life itself. Looking around my surrounding and feeling lucky to be the owner of my life.
Q: What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: In the last couple of years I have jumped for Eyoalha on multiple occasions. Each time I push myself to jump higher I get closer and closer to the sky. :) Every session ends in laughter which leaves me with a warm feeling.
Q: What inspires you in life?
A: The kids in my life. Living with a sense of purpose. The human characteristics that I love: courage, tenderness, love, and finding these traits throughout the world, from the children I've worked with in Africa to the Elephants in Thailand.
Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A: Following my calling. Being true to who I am.
Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: Laughter. Taking ownership of who I am, and having the courage to act on who I want to be.
Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: Live every day like it is your last.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: I would have everyone in the world recognize our interdependence. And how we are all connected. I would want to inspire people to help one another.
Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: I feel fortunate to collaborate with The Botshabelo children'ss village in South Africa. An elephant sanctuary in Thailand also known as Elephant Nature Park (ENP), as well as having the privilege to mentor at The Power of One Program. I also keep a facebook page for Grey Matters.
Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: It doesn't matter how small or big your actions towards changing the world might be, what matters is that by pushing towards being a better human being we are already making the change happen.
All the photos of Yuri were taken in Vancouver, BC Canada.
