While there are small rate increases for US/domestic mail, the most affected are international shipments where we see the rates double, to $9.45, for a single CD. We will price shipping at $9.00 to help soften the blow, but currently shipping is our biggest overhead and is the hardest cost for us to absorb. We hope that the strength of the Euro and UK Pound remain high and still make it cheaper for you to purchase your CDs from us directly. It appears that the USPS has raised their rates so significantly as to make them more even with what international shipping costs in Europe and hopefully, while the price increase seems extreme for us, will look familiar to our international customers. We hope this does not discourage you from shopping at 12k.

Some advice we can offer would be to hold your orders and purchase more than one CD at once which will save shipping costs. We will also try, when we can, to double up CD release dates to make this more convenient. 

We apologize that we must increase our shipping rates as we have tried to keep them below market cost for the last decade. This move by the USPS was really quite significant. The bottom line is there is nothing that we can really do about it and only hope that a few more dollars will not prevent you from enjoying the music. 12k and our artists thank you greatly for your continued support and we promise to make every purchase you make at 12k to be well worth it.
