Due to a lack of funds, the Cambodian New Year Parade has been postponed. The Cambodian New Year Celebration at El Dorado Park is still on for April 27, 2013. Booth rentals are available now, click here for the application. Also seeking volunteers to help with traffic control and other duties. For more information, check out the Cam-CC website. Southeast Asian Student Collective Summer Institute (SASC SI) is a 5 day, all-expense paid summer program that provides a safe and constructive learning environment. Participants will be matched with a college mentor who can offer guidance specific to a student’s needs. This program provides an exciting experience for students who are interested in pursuing higher education as well as exploring their cultural background. SASC Summer Institute is seeking motivated high school students with diverse experiences and backgrounds. Anvaya is an organization based in Cambodia that started in 2010 with a mission to provide a network for professional, social, and cultural opportunities to anyone, especially young individuals, interested in the returning to Cambodia. Citizenship Clinics

The Cambodian Family has provided naturalization services to the community for many years, by means of filling out the N-400 Naturalization form, by providing classes and study materials, and by providing interpretation and translation at the citizenship interviews. We will be holding monthly Citizenship Clinics on March 18, April 15, and May 13 from 9-1pm. We are taking 25 appointments for each date.
