4/12 Deadline for Pomeroy Award Nominations
Nominations are open until April 12 for the 2013 Claire Pomeroy Award for Innovation in Medical Technology. If you’d like to nominate an innovator (including yourself), complete the nomination form and email it to awards@sarta.org. The winner will be announced at the 2013 Sacramento Med Tech Showcase on Tuesday, May 14. The Showcase will feature keynote speaker Eric Silfen, M.D., the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Phillips Healthcare, a panel discussion on the future of med tech investing and a discussion by our region’s healthcare systems on the changing healthcare delivery marketplace. CleanStart PowerUP coming to Folsom and Grass Valley
Register now for the next CleanStart PowerUP in your area, April 23 in Folsom and June 26 in Grass Valley. Getting Our Ag Together --With Your Help!
SARTA, in partnership with UC Davis' GSM, has won a grant to support the growth of ag tech companies. We will be doing this work through SARTA’s AgStart program and UC Davis’ Sustainable Ag Tech Innovation Center. SARTA is conducting a study of the ag tech industry and is asking for your help, as an important community leader, in completing this 10 question survey. Thank you in advance; your input is valuable!
Cleantech Open is Right Around the Corner
The application deadline for the Cleantech Open earlybird rate is April 10th, so sign-up today for the low fee of $90 for professional teams and $40 for student teams. The final deadline is May 1st.
