Tirgan and the Toronto Raptors

On February 20th, the Toronto Raptors play the Memphis Grizzlies at Air Canada Centre. Tirgan’s Short Story Contest is back!
Under the supervision of Abbas Maroufi, Tirgan is excited to bring back our short story contest. All those interested in writing are encouraged to submit their entries by no later than February 28, 2013.

Tirgan is accepting Artist Applications
Tirgan offers an opportunity to Iranian artists from around the world to present their work at the festival. We are now accepting applications from artists who are interested in performing/presenting at Tirgan. The deadline for submitting the applications is February 28, 2012.

Photography Contest
In collaboration with CaféLitt, a Montreal based non-profit cultural organization; Tirgan will be holding a photography contest accepting photo submissions in the categories of fine arts, documentary and photojournalism from all around the world. The deadline for submitting entries is March 25, 2013.

Yalda Celebration
Tirgan hosted its Yalda celebration on December 22, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan with live performances by Arjang Seyfizadeh and Maziar Heidari amongst others. Over 300 guests celebrated the longest night of the year with their families, friends and Tirgan.
