Stonehaven news...
This is the official unveiling of our beautiful new website, StonehavenCharlotte.com! Click here http://stonehavencharlotte.com/ to take a look. We thank our contributors, advertisers, and neighbor supporters. Heather Johnson of The Creative Stack gets the credit for our splendid new online image.
Join the Stonehaven community-wide yard sale Saturday, April 20, sponsored by neighbor Leigh Bryant of Keller Williams Realty. You can do your spring cleaning and organizing, and Leigh will take care of the advertising, permits, directional signs, and will even arrange for a vendor to pick up what doesn't sell at the end of it all. More details coming, but for now save the date and head to the attic! www.onthemovecharlotte.com.
Have you seen the "Little Free Library" in the front yard of our neighbor at 6817 Pleasant Drive? It’s worth a bike ride or a walk to see it! Do you want one on your street too? Here’s where you can learn more: http://www.littlefreelibrary.org/
Neighbor Jocelyn McLaughlin has been a volunteer tutor for the Augustine Project, a literacy program for at-risk children for three years. The program trains volunteers to work one-on-one with at-risk students on phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and more. If interested in learning about this program, come to a coffee on Thursday, February 21 at 10:30 am at Randolph Middle School, 4400 Water Oak Road. Or, contact Jocelyn at PatMcL47@aol.com or at 704 364-6837.
