On January 30th, a fire broke out in the historic West Side Market that severely damaged two stands and resulted in smoke damage throughout the entire Market House. On behalf of the West Side Market family, thank you to everyone who has supported the Market during the closure. Mayor Frank Jackson, dozens of City officials and the crew at RestorX MD worked diligently to get the Market cleaned, inspected and ready to reopened. Just 19 days after the fire, the historic West Side Market will fully reopen to welcome back our loyal customers on Monday, February 18th.

We are so grateful for the entire community who came together to help us continue another 100 years of food, family and tradition. A very special thank you to Chef Michael Symon who shared his #wsmlove on ABC's The Chew and opened a donation site to assist with recovery efforts. Chef Symon and co-host Chef Jonathon Sawyer helped raise over $175,000 at November 3rd Centennial Gala, those funds are even more critical now.
