Safety Day at Gateway
The Milwaukee Area OSHA office, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Wisconsin Chapter, Gateway Technical College, and WisCon invite your company to participate in the 2nd Annual Safety Day at Gateway Conference located at the Racine Campus Conference Center on March 13th, 2013 beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. The $15 fee includes: Breakfast, morning sessions, lunch & networking, and vendor displays. 

New this year! Heart Saver AED from 1:00 - 5:00 pm for an additional fee of $20.

CNC Boot Camp #16
Completion Ceremony

April 19, 2013 from 1:00 -  2:00 pm at the SC Johnson iMET Center. Employers are invited to conduct interviews from 2:30 - 4:30 pm  after the ceremony.  We would like to find placement for our graduates, and we have made every effort to prepare a qualified candidate who is ready to work. February 12th was an exciting day at Gateway's SC Johnson integrated Manufacturing and Engineering Technology (iMET) Center as we officially opened the new flexible manufacturing lab in Tarnowski Hall and our industrial design Fab Lab. We were joined by approximately 400 guests from the region as well as state and national representatives including students, educational partners, and business and industry partners. Building Credit and Obtaining Business Financing
Date: Saturday, March 2, 2013
Time: Registration 8:30 - 9:00, workshop 9:00 - Noon
Location: SC Johnson iMET Center
Fee: $35, $20 second person from same business

 • Why lenders care about credit.
 • How to build and maintain strong business credit.
 • Business financing avenues , including the SBA.
 • Preparation needed before applying for a loan
 • What the lender expects from the borrower

Mark your calendars now and plan to join RCEDC for the upcoming Inside Racine Business networking session with guest speaker, Bryan Albrecht, President of Gateway Technical College on March 1st, from 7:30-9:00am at the SC Johnson iMET Center, Sturtevant.

Bryan will present a personal perspective on leadership and change. Bryan has 29 years of experience in education serving as a teacher, coach, state administrator and college President. His network of resources extends throughout the world and and he serves as an adviser for both the U.S. Department of Education and U.S Department of Labor.
 
This presentation will draw from your past experiences and leave you inspired to expand your leadership influence within our community!  Don't Miss it!
