Fugue Space Opening/Performance Event
Friday February 22
6-10pm

Opening reception begins at 6pm with cocktails and snacks for everyone, and performances begin at 8pm.

Join us for an evening of art, music, and fun featuring The Logan Square New Music Ensemble and Sad Banana. All are invited to celebrate the "Fugue Space" exhibition with the art opening/performance event "Hullabaloo II," at The Charnel House, 3421 West Fullerton in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.


 
The Fugue Space Exhibit showcases contrasting sensibilities where artists use memory, layers, or repetition of image or technique to create distinct atmospheres through painting, photography, mixed media or new media. Exhibit Page

Exhibit curated by Victoria Szilagyi of Chapel Projects at The Charnel House and Tracy Kostenbader of AnySquared Projects.

Performers at event: The Logan Square New Music Ensemble was started in 2011 by Carolyn O'Neill and Matt Mehawich. The LSNME is a grass roots chamber ensemble open to musicians of all levels and dedicated to performing new works by local composers. Additionally, the ensemble seeks to bring modern Classical music to a wider audience. Sad Banana is the irreverent and comedic acoustic duo of Mary Spray and Josh Paloma.
