Dear <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>
Announcement
ENAT has launched an international
Questionnaire Survey on the information needs of travellers with disabilities.
The survey results will contribute to the "STEEP " initiative - a new "Social Tourism Eiuropean Exchanges Platform" . STEEP is partly-funded by the European Union to make an online system enabling eligible customers, including people with disabilities, to take holidays across Europe with financial or other support. Owners of hotels, holiday villages, campsites and other holiday accommodation will be invited to offer their services via the STEEP service. Those who can offer accessible accommodation and services will obviously be preferred by disabled visitors and their companions.
You can read more about the STEEP initiative and partners at the
ENAT Projects page.
The survey can be answered by European tourists with disabilities and their families, travel companions or carers.
This survey will close at 12:00 midnight, Central European Time on Sunday 31 March 2013. The survey will also be available online in French, German, Italian and Spanish languages from 1st – 31st March 2013. Additional language versions will be announced by ENAT when published.

What is the survey about?
We would like to know more about the experiences of people with disabilities when planning and going on "social tourism" holidays. In particular, we are interested in finding out what kind of ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION is important to you, when you are planning your holidays and when you are at the destination.
By “social tourism” we mean a short break or holiday that is FULLY PAID or PARTLY PAID by an organisation which specialises in arranging subsidised holidays, e.g. a charity, trade union or public authority. Usually, the place where you stay (hotel, campsite, holiday village, etc.) is a member or participant in the social tourism scheme.
Perhaps you have not been on a "social tourism" holiday.
- We would still like you to answer the questions that are relevant to you.
Thank you, in advance, for your participation.

Please pass on this message to any organisation or persons who might be interested to answer the survey.
