Lenten Appeal Prayers and Important Notices 2013  |  Week 6

Dear Supporter,

We give thanks for the brilliant response so far to the Lenten Appeal and this year's projects. Please pray that this support will continue to flow in so the projects can all be completed.

This is our last set of prayer points for Lent. If you wish to continue to pray with us throughout the year make sure to grab a copy of the latest Partners in Prayer.

Blessings,
Anglican Missions

Missed a week? Here is week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4 and week 5.

Transit House - Papua New Guinea
The Diocese of Aipo Rongo in Papua New Guinea is working towards becoming self sufficient. They are building a Transit House in Mt Hagen to enable the Diocese to raise its own money. This project raises funds for the remaining plumbing, electrical fittings, doors, painting, beds and bedding, and whiteware.

We pray for the Diocese of Aipo Rongo, the people who are working on the Transit House, and the people who will benefit from it once it is completed.
Mission Support - Polynesia
Support the clergy of Polynesia. About 21 stipendiary clergy and 6 non-stipendiary clergy are supported by this Anglican Missions Board project. This is in recognition of the evangelism, mission and outreach work that they are involved with, which is an on-going programme of the Diocese.

We pray for the Diocese of Polynesia and it's members. In many areas of Polynesia the Anglican Church is the focal point of the community - and it operates the only pre-schools/kindergartens in the area.

Ordinands in Training - Iran
The Ordinand Training project aims to provide trained pastoral leadership to those serving the Anglican Church in Iran. This is an amazing step for the future of the Church in Iran.

Pray for Bishop Azad Marshall as he travels to and from the country and works with his priests; for wisdom and guidance for him. Also pray for good relations between the Church of Iran and her neighbours.

Tech for Kids - Palestine, Jerusalem
Tech for Kids will help the Episcopal Technological & Vocational Training Center (ETVTC) to buy computers, chairs, and a server for their technology department in order to create more opportunities for the children of Ramallah.

Pray for the Diocese of Jerusalem and Bishop Suheil Dawani, and give thanks for the work of the Diocese in providing and improving education in Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Syria, and Lebanon.
