On The Rivet Twilight Series 2013 Final Pointscore

The On The Rivet Twilight Series 2013 proved popular with Canberra riders again this year. This is the third year of the twilight races and, by participant numbers, this was the second most attended competitive event on the Canberra Cycling Club race calendar, after the Wednesday night crits. There were some $4,000 in prizes provided by On The Rivet with around $500 in prizes awarded each night across all grades offered from Mens A to Womens C and juniors – some nine grades, and four general participant awards made up of things useful to all cyclists, like water bottles, gels, spare tubes and tyre leavers and so on. These were particularly well received. The points score prizes are made up of the latest Bontrager helmets, a couple of sets of tyres, socks and the latest and very cool sunglasses by Tifosi, that is, around $500 in prizes for each of the first four on the points score.
