It's all change at Ribchester Village Hall!

You might have noticed - there's been rather a lot going on at  Ribchester Village Hall lately.

We're in the middle of an exciting modernisation project, through which we are upgrading and extending our facilities to bring the Hall into the 21st Century.

As part of this process of renewal, we've also taken a good look at our communications strategy - which, we'll admit, was pretty basic before now - and have taken steps to bring the Hall into the modern age in this respect too.

Ribchester Village Hall now has a lovely new website - www.ribchestervillagehall.org.uk - and a page on Facebook. We'll be sending out a quarterly email newsletter, of which this is the very first, and there'll also be a paper version of the newsletter delivered to homes in the village. So, we hope you'll find it much easier to keep up to date with what's going on at your Village Hall from now on. Please do connect with us in whichever way you prefer and get involved!

Some of our more regular users may have been inconvenienced by the renovation works over last summer and some snags after we reopened, for which we apologise. We hope you agree that the subsequent improvements are worth the pain! If you would like to learn more about our physical modernisation and renovation programme, there's a page dedicated to it on our website with the full story so far. And we'll be keeping it updated as planning for phases 2 and 3 of the project progresses. Click here to visit the page.

Front of House: News on the latest Hall happenings

Great British Dinner
It was 'All Blighty on the Night' when the Village Hall hosted a Great British Dinner evening on 9th February.

The event, which followed from the long-standing popularity of the annual International Night, was a sell-out success - raising funds for St Wilfrid's Church.

Well done to everyone involved. The next International Dinner Night is already in the calendar for Saturday October 12th, so make sure you don't miss out on tickets!
RATS - Panto of the Opera
The RATS pantomime - Panto of the Opera - nearly brought down the house recently.  A dark tale of music and passion, set against a backdrop of Parisian decadence; it had all the ingredients of greatness - the tortured artist, the evil lord, the wanton disregard or health and safety regulations!

Their next show will be a play, to be performed in March or April. Keep checking our website or Facebook page for news - or why not get involved yourself? RATS would love to hear from you...
