You are receiving this email because you are awesome and want to stay updated on the Historic BID and our fantastic neighborhood.
Last month, we proudly unveiled Downtown LA's first set of parklets - small public spaces that extend the sidewalk into parking spaces with seating, recreation and green space - located on Spring Street between 6th & 7th St.
Our parklets serve as a great example of what hard-working partnerships can achieve. In addition to the Historic BID's involvement, we’d like to thank DLANC, Council District 14, LADOT, the Office of City Planning, the UCLA Complete Streets Initiative, and the Gilbert Foundation.
Calling all screenwriters and playwrights!
The Historic BID is now sponsoring an Emerging Writers Workshop for local screenwriters and playwrights to share their work, provide feedback, and collaborate with fellow writers from our neighborhood. The group meets every other Sunday evening from 7-10pm. Email us at info@historicBID.com for more info and to RSVP.
Attention Property Owners!
The Historic BID's renewal process is set to begin next week. Please be alert that we will be sending petitions that require a majority of signators in order to vote to renew the Historic BID. More info on renewal will be coming to property owners soon.
Thank you for your commitment to our BID and to the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles.
