BLMRA Taster Weekend

Want to try Lawn Mower Racing??

You may have seen on our 2013 calendar that we are hosting a taster weekend for new racers interested in trying Lawn Mower Racing.
 
The format of the weekend will be as follows: you will be allotted an AM or PM session on either the Saturday or Sunday where you will have up to 30 minutes of track time with racing advice from the mower owner. Off the track we will have members giving advice on building and maintaining the machines and the opportunity for people to sell their old spares in a mower jumble sale. We will also have a demo machine of the new Super Standard class we are introducing this year as a first step into mower racing.
 
The event is to be held at Reservoir Dip in Billingshurst on the 20th/21st April, entry will be £10 and will include insurance, mower use and fuel. We will ask you to arrive with your own helmet, gloves, stout footwear and to wear long sleeved tops and full length trousers. There are obvious limitations to the number of people we can accommodate and we will run the entry on a first come first served.
