I will have a one-man exhibit at the
Guachoya Cultural Art Center in Lake Village, Arkansas, during the month of April. I hope you can join me at my reception on
Thursday, April 4, from 6 to 7:30 pm. If you can visit my exhibit any time during April, you'll have a chance to sign up for a raffle of a free 20-page 8x11" coffee-table book of my paintings!
I will also participate in Art on the Courtyard, a free art show and sale sponsored by Brush Strokes, with music by Common Ground and wine at $1 a glass at Coronado Center, 150 Ponderosa Way, Hot Springs Village, AR. I'll have a book raffle at this event, too.
I am excited about jurying and judging the
Traditional Art Guild (TAG) April exhibit at the Garland County Library in Hot Springs, Arkansas, later today. If your group is interested in a demo or workshop, or a juror for an exhibit, please contact me to discuss it. You can learn more about my workshops on the
Workshops page of my website, and see my upcoming art events on the
Events page.

Newly Posted Watercolors
Since my last newsletter I posted 4 new watercolors on
www.weeklywatercolor.com or
www.jimoberst.com. Two of these are seascape/boat paintings (one has already been sold), and two are very different versions of one of my favorite barns. Click the image or its title for more info.
