The competition is open to anyone; students and practitioners, CIOB members and non-members, people from the UK and the rest of the world. As well as receiving £500, the winning article will be featured on the Designing Buildings Wiki home page, and the winner will be invited to write a blog post for the home page. We will also feature four runners-up who will receive commendations from the CIOB, and all suitable entries will be added to the site.
