The Georgia Coalition to Prevent Genocide has renewed the Georgia State Resolution declaring April as Genocide Prevention and Awareness Month. Please click here for a schedule of events.

Grand Re-Opening of Anne Frank in the World


April 9, 2013 at 1:00pm The Georgia Commission on the Holocaust is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony with City of Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos to celebrate the renewal of the Anne Frank in the World: 1929-1945 exhibit agreement with the City of Sandy Springs during the week of Holocaust Remembrance. "Remembering Ravensbrück: Women and the Holocaust" exhibit comes to Sandy Springs


The Kennesaw State University Museum of History and Holocaust Education exhibition, "Remembering Ravensbrück: Women and the Holocaust", is now on view a tAnne Frank in the World: 1929-1945 in Sandy Springs. Admission is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on view through April 28th, 2013.

April 12, 2013: State Official Days of Remembrance at State Capitol


Please save the date for Georgia's Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust in the North Wing of the State Capitol. Six candles will be lit in honor of those who perished during the Holocaust. Read more...

Apply now! KSU Museum of History & Holocaust Education 2013 Summer Institute

Application deadline: May 3, 2012. Join rising high school juniors and seniors for the 6th annual Summer Institute from June 9-12, 2013. The summer institute is completely free for participants.

Atlanta Area School for the Deaf tours the exhibit


4 APRIL 2013 -- Ninth and tenth grade students from the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf toured Anne Frank in the World with docent Bill Eudaly and two interpreters. Free docent led tours are available for groups between 10-50 visitors. Read more...
