BSU signs Swiss exchange agreement

Bemidji State University President Dr. Richard A. Hanson signed a faculty and student exchange agreement with representatives from the University of Lucerne during an April 9 ceremony in Deputy Hall.

The Lucerne agreement brings Bemidji State closer to its goal of offering 120 opportunities for students to experience low-cost, semester-long study-abroad opportunities each semester. BSU now has nine agreements signed and will have three more completed by this summer, reaching its target of 12 international partner institutions. These agreements also present faculty with opportunities to spend a semester teaching abroad.
