Dear Mountain View Families,

The PTA would like to thank everyone who voted YES for the continuation of the Ed-SPLOST! Because the referendum passed, the Cobb County School District will remain free of long-term debt, be able to fund maintenance projects, and provide upgrades to our buildings. Thank you for supporting our students and teachers!  

Please mark your calendar for our last PTA sponsored event of the year on April 19. We will be conducting our final PTA General Membership meeting where we will elect officers for 2013-14. Then, we will kick-off CRCTs with our annual Spring Fling. We can't wait!

Finally, just in time for Mother's Day and Father's Day, our Square 1 Art fundraiser is now underway.

• Please order online or via the catalog by April 1.  
• Paper orders--remember to add 6% sales tax.  Tax on online orders will be included automatically.
• Proceeds from the event will be used to renew our site license for IXL.com and purchase document cameras (compatible with SMART Boards) for additional grades.
• Please purchase a tile for our tile wall (item 54B, $9.75). They look beautiful in our hallways and allow your child's artwork to be permanently displayed at school.

Mountain View’s 2013 Memory Book is complete! Thank you to all the many, many families who submitted pictures to make this fantastic book possible. We could not have done it without your help!

Because the books have been ordered, the quantity is now limited. Pre-Orders will be accepted through Friday, April 5th, on a first come, first served basis. After Spring Break, orders will no longer be taken – so order now! Any extras that remain when books arrive in May will be sold at Mountain View (first come, first served – cash only) during the last few days of school.
