Take Back the Night
Take Back the Night is a peaceful protest to speak out against domestic and sexual violence. Penn's Take Back the Night begins with a rally on College Green, followed by a march across campus, and finally, a survivor speak-out and candlelight vigil. This year, Amy Richards, creator of the Third Wave Foundation and author of Manifesta, will be the keynote speaker of the rally.

Mental Wellness Week (Co-Sponsored by La Casa Latina)
Mental Wellness Week (MWW) is a week-long series of events dedicated to raising awareness of mental health issues on campus and decreasing the stigma around discussing them. This year, from March 29 to April 5 , MWW is hosting Deconstruct the Penn Face. Penn Face refers to the image Penn students feel they need to project in order to fit in with the rest of the community. Let's shed our masks and stand together.

Tutors Needed
Puentes de Salud's after school education & wellness program: This program aims to support the development of strong academic skills, self esteem, and healthy behaviors in 60 South Philly Latino children with the goal of addressing the larger social environment that impacts the health of the community.   Please consider signing up to volunteer.
Tutoring sessions are held:
Mon, Tue, Thur from 3-5pm
Southwark School (9th and Mifflin)

 Women's Medical Fund
Access Counselor Poition
Women’s Medical Fund (WMF) provides financial and other assistance to low-income women and teens who wish to terminate a pregnancy but lack the resources for an abortion. Access Counselors staff the help line providing direct services such as financial assistance, information and referrals to the women and teens who call. A position is available for Summer 2013.
