Hi everyone,
Rena Dalley's newsletter from the OK Corral Scooter Park on the Redcliffs New World site follows.
Warm regards,
Eddie Hayes

From the Ok Corral Scooter Park

Rena’s Second Report. May 3 2013.

An unexpected visit from Television One on Wednesday May 1 created a flurry of activity. With knowledgeable and willing mums ringing and texting around the park was soon filled with expectant excited children and supportive parents. Evidently a number of impressed mums felt the park and its creators should be on the “Good Sorts” show so watch T.V.1 on Sunday May 5 at 6.55p.m. and see what Haydn Jones has to reveal.
Special thanks to Jonny Roxburgh for his great cycle stunts and wonderful help in setting up the ramps.

*** STOP PRESS ***

Today I received the news that the Redcliffs New World supermarket rebuild is to start soon accompanied miraculously by traffic lights. What an enormous step forward for the sanity and safety of Redcliffs residents. Now every effort will be made to find another site and create a scooter park which has become for the children of Redcliffs and its surrounds a necessary and invaluable institution.

A reminder that the Redcliffs Community Shed at 99c Main Rd is having an open day on May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.  ALL WELCOME

Don’t forget the BBQ on Sunday May 12 from 11 to 2.p.m.
LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL.

Thank you so much to our sponsors and helpers.

Kind Regards,
Rena. 3843830.
