AmCham Round Table Talking Points
Last month, PureLiving founder, Louie Cheng, was part of a roundtable discussion event, Air Pollution and Health: What You Can Do To Minimize Risk. The event sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce also featured Dr. Richard Saint Cyr, physician at Beijing United Family Hospital; and Dr. George Conway, public health attache, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, US Embassy in Beijing. Louie talked about outdoor PM pollution overshadowing the often more dangerous indoor pollution levels that can be 50-100x worse than the levels outdoors. Dr. St Cyr and Dr. Conway fielded questions about the impact of PM on developing lungs, and whether damage was reversible (it is).
