Hello to all the Coming Soon Club members! My name is Jessica and not to be mistaken with the amazing Jessica Tsang, I have just taken over from Alison Minto as Project Manager. Alison is now officially on maternity leave and I am gingerly preparing to fill some pretty big boots by continuing the legacy of her great work. Cottrell House Launches
Last week the Coming Soon Club launched a brand new enterprise hub just up the road from the HQ on Wembley Hill Road. Cottrell House, a former office building, offers members the opportunity to access office space on the very short (1 day) to the long (6 months) term with flexible conditions and low cost. The Decorators have been hard at work transforming the space and this week we appointed two coming soon club members to run the small cafe. The space is open Monday - Friday, 10.00 -17.00.

Hot Desk - £2.50 a day Fixed desk space £50 + VAT a month
There are 15 hot desks which are ready to use immediately and are available on a first come, first served basis. We have 10 fixed desk spaces at Cottrell House and are taking applications now from Coming Soon Club members to use them. To apply to use the Fixed Desk please complete the

Active Aspirations, the company behind Former British Street Dance Champions Hypnotick has been selected to make use of a new 5 year building designed by the Royal College of Art on empty land next to Wembley Stadium Station. The Coming Soon Club, Brent Council and Hypnotick will now work together over the coming months to bring forward the project. A planning application was this week submitted for the building.
Their idea is to use the space as a teaching, rehearsal and performance space providing skills training, work experience and dance classes to local people and acrobatic entertainment for visitors to Wembley, including shoppers at the forthcoming London Designer Outlet.
Unfortunately there is only one competition winner. Thank you to everyone who put in the hard work to submit a proposal!

May at CSC HQ: Pop-up training venue run by S&DA

For four weeks starting Tuesday 7th May, S&DA (Skills and Development Agency) will be making use of the Club HQ to run a programme of free short courses for local unemployed people, which will be easily accessible, and will help people towards entering or re-entering employment.
The courses on offer are: Intro to Hospitality, Intro to Childcare, Intro to Business Administration, Spectator Safety
These courses complement the number of event venues and hotels locally. Bringing these programmes to the CSC HQ is a chance for S&DA to bring what they are doing onto the high street and into the heart of the community. It is also an opportunity that we hope eligible CSC members will be able to make use of.
