 MerleFest 2013 is upon us! Andy will and perform on the lovely Cabin Stage, play the Songwriter's Coffeehouse, and do a community outreach show. He'll also present FOUR Acoustic Kids Showcases. There are so many wonderful applicants this year, there just isn't time for everybody in the scheduled showcases on the Little Pickers Stage. Rather than disappoint youngsters who have worked so hard on their application/performance, Andy has scheduled a fourth showcase on the Plaza Stage on Saturday, 4/27, from 12:30 - 1:30 pm.
Whew! It will be a full few days!

Andy returns to Courtney’s this week with something a little different: He’ll play an informal set, then he’ll turn over the stage to some of his students, who will play on a set of their own.

New CD: Retroflections
Andy's new CD of old songs is on the way!
Andy’s latest CD is at the manufacturer! Retroflections is a collection of some of Andy’s older songs that had been released on LP or cassette tape but never before on CD. Most of the songs were recorded in the 1980’s and feature Andy’s band members & musical collaborators of that era. Release date: May 1 (May Day, of course)!
Thanks to Mike Poston for his help and expertise in recovering the music on the old reel-to-reel tapes!

Andy's Retroflections Tour
Still booking!
After a 6-year hiatus from the north-eastern part of the country, Andy will be touring up the Eastern Seaboard in July, with appearances in Washington DC, NJ, NY, and New England. (PDF Press release) We'll publish the schedule in the next issue of "Stay Tuned."
As always, if you can connect Andy with a great venue, he'd be most appreciative!

TNRPCV Benefit Concert
 Andy brought in Jeremy Shearer & Nathan Smith to play the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Tennessee Benefit Show at the Rutledge in Nashville on March 8. A great time was had by all!
