Taking it to the Streets
Teachers, administrators and other school staff from Addams Junior High School, and Blackwell, Campanelli, Dooley, Fox and Hale elementary schools walked their neighborhoods on Wednesday, Aug. 14, knocking on the doors of students' families.
The school staff wanted to connect with families (such as the O'Brien family from Dooley School pictured above with teachers Jason Menella and Masaki Date) to remind them of the first day of school on Aug. 20 and invite them to other back-to-school events and curriculum nights.
Addams Principal Chris Bingen, Assistant Principal David Szwed and other staff greet students who were out for a ride (above). Einstein staff (below left) and Campanelli staff (below right) also took the time to visit with students.
