A word from our President
Hi everyone –
In less than a month, we will meet again – in Texas, for the Tri-History Conference. It will be nice to see so many of you again. If you haven’t signed up for the conference yet, please do so. And check the online schedule of events for our annual meeting, to be held on Wednesday, June 12. This is a wonderful opportunity to greet old friends and meet new ones. Several of us are rotating off the board in June, but others will be elected, ensuring that the work will continue.
I have enjoyed my 6 years on the board. I’ve met some truly wonderful women, many of whom are now good friends as well as colleagues. And I’ve learned a lot. It’s been a very busy time for the board as we’ve tried to move into the 21st century of technology and improved our ability to communicate with you. Now I will be turning my attention to new projects, but I look forward to seeing the direction taken by the new board of the Episcopal Women’s History Project, too. I wish them all the very best.
Keep in touch, ladies. I’ve enjoyed the notes you’ve written. Thanks for all of the care and support you have offered me during my time as president.
Sincerely,
Nancy |
