Welcome to the May issue of Makaton News. This month we highlight our downloadable resources and have free Father’s Day cards for you to make and personalise using Makaton symbols. There’s news of where you can see us out and about, and of how you can support us if you sell items on eBay. We also have three new blogs for you to enjoy!

Downloadable resources
Our downloadable resources act as a starter kit and provide small selections of Makaton symbols and signs.
They are cheaper than publications, there is no additional post and packing, and you get access to them instantly.
They include games and activities that you can sit down and do, but hopefully they will also help you think about how the vocabulary can be used in daily living activities. If you have ideas to share or want further help or advice please contact us!

Father’s Day cards
Sunday 16th June is Father’s Day. Make and decorate your own card using one of our free Father’s Day cards. Let your dad know how much he means to you by adding your own special message, using Makaton symbols.

The Autism Show
Come and see us at The Autism Show: a national event for autism, dedicated to the two million people in the UK who live and work with autism on a daily basis. Do you sell on eBay?
You can now support us every time you sell an item on eBay, by donating a percentage from any sale to The Makaton Charity. But you do not lose out because every time you list an item for charity, you’ll get a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees, equal to the percentage you donate.
