To assure potential buyers of the quality of the teas up for auction we have brought together a panel of expert and celebrity judges to evaluate each tea and have also brought together a group of consumer tasters. Their evaluations will be collected and aggregated to score each tea before the auction begins. As there are no internationally recognized cupping standards by which we can refer we will refer to the
standards proposed by The World of Tea.

Tony Gebely - Tea Expert
Tony Gebely is a dedicated advocate for true tea. During his time as a tea seller while he owned the respected Chicago Tea Garden he built a reputation of bringing teas of the finest quality to the market. He is now on a quest to deliver tea knowledge through
World of Tea and his developing book about tea, no history, no recipes. He has built a strong following of tea lovers that trust his contribution to the tea community. He also serves as a moderator for the subreddit /r/tea.
Jason Walker - Tasting Expert
Jason Walker is a widely respected tea reviewer from
Walker Tea Reviews. He consults with tea companies to taste for the finest quality teas and searches around the world for new sources.
Kevin Rose - Celebrity Taster
Kevin Rose (@tea) is a internet entrepreneur and advocate for tea culture. He is an icon in the technology world and has done his part to make tea cool. Tea companies have consulted with him to curate popular lines of tea that have introduced a new generation of Tea Lovers. As the founder of Digg and now Venture Partner of Google Ventures Kevin is on the cutting edge of technology and modern commerce.
