Dear Friends,

There's never a good time to start eating healthy and exercising just like there's never the right time to buy a house, have a baby, go back to school. That's just a law of nature.

When we put off learning the skills that lead to choosing foods wisely from a deep knowledge bank, menu planning and grocery shopping for our whole foods kitchen, we just keep burying the part of us that craves fresh, crisp, vibrant food. The part that really does want to contribute to our health and energy, that would love to confidently shun cakes and cookies, dark chocolate, creamy frappes and lattes. The part that says, as we close our eyes, "Tomorrow I'll do it," and that promptly goes into hiding when our eyes fly open the next day. The part that says, "I always feel better when I eat more veggies and get in a good walk." Then why don't you? Because the part that throws you off that course just happens to be louder.

That part of you that puts it off, keeps buying junk for the pantry (because the kids deserve snacks), eats out a lot, and blames long hours at work, raising kids, and cleaning the house as the reasons you just don't have time is LOUD. It says, "OK, I'll start soon." Amp up the evolving part of your brain, not the throw-back, automatic, habit-forming part of your brain, but the one that is capable of change, transformation, shifts and lasting change. Now. Not over the summer, or in the fall, or oh, yeah, next spring I'll do this. Now's the time.

Join me in a 5-week journey to set the stage, cleanse your body, wash your emotions, salve your intelligence as new habits form. You'll adapt to new ways of seeing food as nourishment vs comfort, how to shop efficiently, re-engineer your kitchen to create the space to hold your intention, pantry full of whole, natural and unprocessed foods.
