From the feedback we received, you seemed to enjoy our first newsletter, so we thought that we'd write another one! It's been a busy and exciting time for us since we last 'spoke' so here's an update on what's happening at Bio-D's Hull HQ.

Disinfectant Competition! Legislative changes mean that we will have to rename our indoor and outdoor Disinfectant, but we're really struggling to think of an alternative name – after all, disinfectant ‘does what it says on the tin', to quote an old advert for Ronseal!
So this is where our generous and knowledgeable readers come in... Simply think of a new name for our disinfectant and email it to Sara by 31st May, 2013 and we'll give the winner a box of Bio-D products worth £100!

In celebration of gaining the Allergy Friendly Product Award for our unfragranced laundry range and with a desire to contribute to the great work that Allergy UK does, we have chosen Allergy UK Nurses Appeal as our charity of the year.
A nationwide fundraising appeal was launched on 22nd April and aims to raise £1million to provide specialist allergy nurses within communities across the UK. You can find out more about the appeal by viewing this video. Meanwhile, you can help Allergy UK by buying any of our fragrance free, Allergy UK Friendly Product accredited laundry products and we will donate 10p from the sale of each product until 9th June. We'd love it if you could help.
Here's one of the Bio-D hampers that we donated for a recent Nurses Appeal fundraising event.
We're very proud of the fact that all of our ethically responsible, nature inspired and hypoallergenic products are made by a small and dedicated team at our factory in Hull, East Yorkshire and want to share with you the people who make the Bio-D difference. This month, it's the turn of one of only two ladies in the Bio-D team, Yvonne Brown.
What's your role at Bio-D?
I work in the factory making soap by hand.
What do you like doing when you're not at work? Seeing my grandsons .
What was your favourite subject at school? Drama, P.E.
What's your favourite meal?
Sunday roast dinner.
What would be the first thing that you would buy if you won the lottery?
A cruise!
