The Story Has Hit Washington Times, Fox News, and More
I am being sued by the City of Keene for rescuing motorists from parking tickets. It's called " Robin Hooding". My friends and I hit the streets of downtown Keene, NH (where I live) and find the meter maid(s). We then walk in front of her/him and deposit coins in expired meters to prevent the parking enforcer from writing a ticket. We've saved thousands of motorists from being ticketed in the last several months and now the City has filed suit against us accusing us of "harassing" and "intimidating" the poor parking enforcers. The suit is seeking to create a 50ft "safety zone" around the meter maids.
The Union Leader in Manchester ran a story this morning and my phone started to ring. WBZ-TV in Boston came up to do a story as well as WMUR-TV in Manchester. The Washington Times also ran a great piece, which was picked up by Fox News.
Perhaps you would be interested in covering this topic with me as a guest on your local show? There are many angles. Is asking questions of government bureaucrats harassing? Are Robin Hooders heroes or pests? Is parking enforcement necessary? Or, whatever angle you think is interesting! I'm available for interview. Reach out to me via the contact information below.
