Greetings everyone,

February is a special time for us at Sunshine Coast Olive Oil because throughout the month, Extra Virgin Olive Oils from the Northern Hemisphere (i.e. Mediterranean and Californian) arrive.
We already have the amazing, award-winning Spanish Picual from Oro Bailen and have just added three new Ultra Premium (UP) Extra Virgin Olive oils from California, including an organic Arbequina.

A new balsamic flavour arrived, and we’ve been cooking up a storm with it:  Pineapple White Balsamic. We have included a few recipes for some of our latest offerings.

Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. is an official sponsor of an exciting event, the March 1st Oscar's Eve Party fundraiser organized by the Sechelt Rotary Club.

If you haven’t seen the NY times illustrated article on olive oil fraud, we’ve attached a link.

We also have partnered with three local businesses: a home-delivery service, a bakery and a local artist who is recycling our bottles to make culinary art with a Sunshine Coast theme.

Finally, we have Valentine’s gift sets that include Lindor chocolate truffles.

Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils

We have 3 new Ultra Premium extra virgin olive oils in stock: ArbequinaOrganic Arbequina and Koroneiki (these are Californian olive oils made at the Bario Olive Oil Estate in Dinuba,CA).
The Spanish favourite, Oro Bailen Picual (from the Ora Bailen Estate in Jaen, Spain), is in stock.  This award-winning oil displays distinctive ‘tomatoe notes’ and is absolutely fabulous on raw tomatoes.

A Taste of Hawaii

Introducing our new white balsamic flavour: Pineapple White Balsamic...
Our golden pineapple balsamic is sweet and tart with the heady aroma of fresh, ripe pineapple. This  subtle yet zesty balsamic is the perfect complement to fruit salads and fresh berries.  It adds  flavour without discoloring salads, is delicious in sparkling beverages and adds depth to a pineapple ham glaze. As always, you can come for complimentary tastings.  If you do, try pairing it with our coconut balsamic or Persian lime oil.

Valentine's Special

Look out for our Valentine's specials including gift bags with 2 x 200 ml, 2 tapi pour spouts and a trio of Lindor Chocolates for $29.99.

Save the Date!

March 1st, the Sechelt Rotary Club is going to pull out the red-carpet for an ‘Oscar’s Eve Party’.
Over a dozen local restaurants and BC wineries will be donating food and drink for the event.
Tickets $30.00 per person.
Sunshine Coast Olive Oil is an official sponsor, and we will be partnering with some of the local restaurants to showcase our products at this exciting event.

Wheatberries Bakery Grab-N-Go salads

Sunshine Coast Olive Oil Co. is partnering with Wheatberries bakery, providing our oils and vinegars for their new Grab-N-Go salads.
The oils and balsamics are on the bottom of the jar, then when you are ready to eat, you just shake it up and eat from the jar or pour onto a plate.
Then you return the jar for reuse!  No plastic in the landfill.
We love it!
