Dear friends and fellow laborers,
Greetings once again in the name of the Lord! We trust this letter finds you all resting in the grace and supply of the Father, as we are. Last month, we told you about some struggles we were having with the trailer and the finances, and this month the Lord took care of us more than we could have expected! This time of year is always good financially because of the tax returns, but we had heard they would be delayed because of government dysfunction and last-minute closure of the IRS, preventing their processing of returns. Much to our surprise, the IRS took our return 3 days before filing opened, and had the money in our bank in 7 business days! So, once again, the Lord more than met our needs, and in plenty of time, too!
We were privileged to minister to 4 churches this month, Liberty Baptist Church in Buckhannon WV, Lighthouse Baptist Church in Salem WV, Heritage Baptist Church in Opelika AL, and Gloryland Baptist Church in Birmingham AL. Also this month, a church we ministered to last year called to let us know they will be partnering with us to reach the Romanians with the gospel!
We have been staying with my parents for almost a year now, in between meetings, and it has been becoming less practical to do so, but it’s usually quite expensive find another place to live. However, the Lord provided in this area as well, and we got a great deal on a place in Ashland KY, which is very close to where we were, and still a great location for driving out to meetings! We have a very full schedule for the next month, and appreciate your prayers as we will be covering about 3500 miles.
