Fall has...fallen
And the gigs roll on! September was another was another slam dunk month with shows by Mr. Gone, The Thunderhead Organ Trio, jazz vocalist Maiko, The Flying Obersons, plus festival shows with Decora in Boston and Montreal, and on September 1st I began a shipping limited edition copies of my latest disc "Soft Invaders". Here's what's happening in October:

The ThunderHead Organ Trio continues their monthly residence at the Wherehouse in Newburgh on third thursday of every month on Thursday October 15th. This month the wonderful Peter Furlan sits on on the Saxophone! Nadav Snir-Zelniker returns on the drum kit along with the regularsJoe Gil (trombone) and yours truly on keyboards. As usual there's no cover, just their awesome beer selection & great menu. 8:00 pm.

Space Create Presents is a new series of workshops and presentations at their beautiful downtown newburgh location. Each month I'll be hosting "Adventures in Electronic Music", demonstrating an aspect or style of electronic music production with special guests, and the events will close with a short performance. This month features a performance by Legoland Empire (with Allen Wentz). Space Create is located at 115 Broadway in Newburgh NY, next door to Two Alices Coffee Shop. The starts at 7 pm. You can Pay What You Want - even free. and we suggest a $5 donation.
This monthWired Wednesdayswelcomes DJ DeeFlash (Chris Rieche) as he talks about the history of House music and gives us a demonstration of the new Roland AIRA System. Chris is a House/Techno producer & performer from Poughkeepsie NY, He produces his own flavor of tech house, breaks, and progressive house; has released on labels such as Deeplife Records, MK837, and Uncovered, and In 2010 founded the MK837 label with Dave Richards and Kevin Oneel. He has many tracks and tutorials online - check out his Youtube Channel and Soundcloud pages. The Newburgh Free Libraryis located at 124 Grand Street in Newburgh NY and runs from 7 - 8:30 pm. Free to to the public.
The Thunderhead Organ Trio returns to Quinns!! Once again we will tear it up at this now well known spot for the best in local live music. Great food & drink, and a mind altering excursion into that music we all love so much. Joe Gil (trombone), Nadav Snir -Zelniker (drums) and yours truly on the keys & synthesizers.
