Time to Take Action!
Time seems to have flown by since our last newsletter and as ever we've been busy bees. Whilst the Government is doing it's best to say 'no to renewables', ECOE, like many other community energy groups up and down the land, is saying an emphatic YES. Read on to find out more...

Register NOW for our Solar Share Offer
After two years of hard work, ECoE are now on the verge of launching our first community share offer! We're delighted to announce that our first share issue will be for a rather exciting £345,000 in order to install over 273 kWp of rooftop solar across 9 locations in the City and East Devon!

We expect to go live with this share offer later in November but in the meantime we're asking our supporters to step forward and pledge investment Now!

If you think you may be interested in investing in this exciting offer, or just want to be kept informed of developments, head to our website and register your interest. We're confident that investors will receive healthy returns whilst supported locally-owned energy and generating substantial funds for the local community.

Fighting (for) FITs
October has seen a whole host of actions from Community Energy Groups and larger organisations such as RegenSW and Community Energy England to oppose the planned changes to FITs.
There is a growing wave of anger and disbelief about the changes, including from within the Conservative Party about the speed and scope of what is occurring and it's effects on the industry...
