KC STREETCAR ROUTE

The KC Streetcar predominantly runs along Main Street from Union Station/Crown Center to the River Market. Once in the River Market, the KC Streetcar makes a loop around the City Market. Click here for a printable map of the full KC Streetcar route.

KC STREETCAR TESTING & PARKING

As testing of KC Streetcar vehicle #801 continues, please do not park on the tracks or double park on the streetcar route. When parking along the streetcar route, please make sure the entire parked vehicle is within the white painted line, this includes wheels and side mirrors.

If cars are in violation of this parking rule, they may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense. Read more about parking on the streetcar route here. Watch the KC Streetcar Driver Safety video for more information.

KC STREETCAR CONSTRUCTION

Southwest corner of 5th & Grand reconstruction.
7th: Corner and curb restoration.
8th & 9th: Sidewalk restoration. Be alert for lane drops.
12th: Corner restoration.
13th: Corner restoration.
14th Street closed between Main - Grand for corner work on southwest and southeast corners. Will reopen for the weekend.
Job wide brick restoration, street light work, and permanent signage installs continue.
Job wide street lighting, WiFi installs, and power substation work.

DOWNTOWN DAZZLE

About the Downtown Kansas City Streetcar Starter Line
The two-mile, north-south Downtown KC Streetcar will travel along Main Street and connect the River Market to Crown Center and Union Station, serving the Central Business District, the Crossroads Art District, and the Power and Light District, as well as numerous businesses, restaurants, art galleries, educational facilities and residents.
