LOST BALLOONS
s/t LP
....................................
(SNATCH!078)
new band featuring long year close friends Yusuke Okada (SUSPICIOUS BEASTS) and Jeff Burke (RADIOACTIVITY, MARKED MEN) both on guitar and vocals. Started in Japan in 2011 as a practice space recording project grew to power pop explosion and punk experimenta. Both are incredible musicians with enormous creativity and songwriting output. Overall the multitude of outcomes we adore their artistic earnestness - so we´re more than proud to release the debut LOST BALLOONS record! We got it literally shipped the day before they had their first show ever - trivia fact is that also RADIOACTIVITY had their first tour in Europe after we put their debut 7" out.
Hands down, Jeff Burke is blessed with killer songwriting, paired up with his undeniable breathtaking voice he´s relentlessly winning in our game. Garage aficionado Yusuke reflects the luminous amplification, the new flourishes to stretch the already perfect formula and good potion of nuttiness and open shoelaces. It derives to an album full of hyperactive hymns to acoustic pop hits and some dips of psychedelia and square synths. C’mon - this is a melodic hit collection and if it ain´t in you top ten of 2015 it´ll hit it next year. Yes, we plan rerelease this album in 2045 as a seven double A-Side 7" box due to popular demand. For now, the 180g vinyl on clear vinyl with a cardboard inner sleeve should heighten your demand. All artwork original hand drawn by Yusuke Okada.

SUSPICIOUS BEASTS
Might Die Tomorrow LP
....................................
(SNATCH!076)
the japanese five-piece 'beasts around the New York ex-patriate quixotic Yusuke recorded ten new garage rock psychedelicas darkening the good vibes of beat-tinged 60´s pop and r&b. If you put SUSPICIOUS BEASTS releases together as a narrative, the 3rd album goes beyond their unabashed strangeness. Listeners draw references to the ghost of ALEX CHILTON to garage rock gems as COMPULSIVE GAMBLERS or jangly guitar and organ driven rough REIGNING SOUNDS demos... but at the end we love them them to do what they do in in playfulness rather than eagerness. Instead of five poster boys with conceptual pleasingly-accessible-freakfolk sound it´s a garage punk record gathering inspiration thru art, coney island walks and the overall weirdness of life. The aspiration is at simple as out of reach: to continue as band on different continents and tour the world and the moon. We had intense moments finally seeing the band on the just finished second European tour 2015 with all the original band members, and we totally enjoyed sort of absorbing their impact. No wonder you may feel like putting on a lofi whacked-out-STANDELLS 45 when they ripped thru their sets in full furious Tokyo punk style. In spite of the predilection for not giving people what they expect (the japanese love to play games), the 'beasts live shows are considered as damn joyful . "Might Die Tomorrow" is a exclusive vinyl only lim. 500 edition on 180g vinyl. Recorded by Jeff Burke and Mark Ryan at Cool Devies, TX. Outstanding artwork by singer & songwriter Yusuke Okada.

BARRERACUDAS
Can Do Easy LP
....................................
(SNATCH!075)
The Atlanta/Brooklyn `Cudas five-piece are in our books the ramones-y DICTATORS and revved-up CHEAP TRICK! They take this whole genre on a album long donkey ride! We traveled to the US to see many many bands, always one of our favorite shows was the BARRERACUDAS. Actually, it´s been the most substantial argument in the decision taking and we ended up singing their old songs and unreleased songs for years. Their live show presence around front man Adrian Barrera is huge they take rocknroll where it comes from and simply feels like home. Their great debut "Nocturnal Missions" is already from 2011 so we´re after this long-awaited new record supposed to be ready-any-day for a while now. "Can Do Easy" is worth the wait, it has not only their 2014 impossibly good hit single "Promises" (rising to #1 on the WFMU charts) included, also eleven more infectious from HEARTBREAKERS to HEARTBREAKERS (Tom Petty vs. Thunders) comedy rock smashers. You have to love this band. The BARRERACUDAS have underground rock cult status and we´re joining this gang in our rocknroll daydreaming. Members from The HISS, GENTLEMEN JESSE & HIS MEN and BEATBEATBEAT. THIN LIZZY not yet.

IMPO & THE TENTS
Anxious Times 45
....................................
(SNATCH!077)
four exclusive new dancepunk power pop smashers for candyland surfers! The songs are as catchy as the latest album on ALIEN SNATCH! which got claimed as the 79´ punk/pop album of 2014. Read all ther raving reviews here. The guitar and organ is a sugar rush and the vocals just drag you out any unwanted unlucky situation and make the summer´s end the best you had! IMPO & TENTS got the knack taking the speed of early punk rock (UNDERTONES, POINTED STICKS) into 60´s bubblegum (1910 FRUITGUM to RASPBERRIES) near to unreal perfection and doing it again and again. We´re addicted! . hey, the initial press got misprint labels, so A-Side Label is stickered on the B-Side and vice versa. since both sides are damn good, it doesn´t matter, yeah!
Side A
Anxious Times 2:02
Do The Things You Wanna Do 1:19
Side B
Summer`s End 1:54
Stay The Night 1:53
