Delays and single-lane alternating traffic this weekend on the Lions Gate Bridge
Where: South tower of the Lions Gate Bridge
When: 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, until 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 3 (weather dependent)
A temporary construction bridge will be installed this weekend to allow crews to replace the expansion joint beneath. Last summer, the temporary construction bridge caused a distraction and became known for its "bump". The new design includes a long, smooth tapered approach to ensure drivers do not experience any bumps while driving over the bridge and avoid resulting traffic line-ups.For further info about WV traffic UPDATES
