Week of March 9, 2015 | KC Downtown Streetcar Construction Update

Delaware Street is Back Open.
Four weeks after the first breaker hit the asphalt, Delaware Street has reopened as promised with streetcar tracks from 3rd Street to Independence Avenue, a pedestrian median at 5th Street and several new red crosswalks.

In addition, the parking configuration on Delaware Street has changed. On-street parking is now on the east side of Delaware Street and is back-in angle parking, or reverse angle parking, between 3rd and 5th Streets.

Click here for a diagram and short video with detailed instructions on how to back-in angle park. Click here for the full news release.
