Changes to the audit threshold for charities

There are important changes to audit thresholds for charity accounts with year ending on or after 31 March 2015 (England and Wales only).
"Raising this threshold was supported by the majority of consultation responses – although the joint CFG/NCVO response opposed it on the grounds that this would remove scrutiny from some charities with substantial assets". Source: Third Sector: the main journal for charities has covered it in an interesting article HERE.

PSC register reminder
From January 2016 all companies are required to keep a register of related parties (PSC register) to be filed at companies house. Please read HERE for more guidance. Unlike other parts of this new legislation, this introduces an additional layer of red tape - please don't shoot the messenger!
Did you know... that one of our auditors, Davis Fletcher, also has his own Opera Company? His first presentation of La Boheme is taking place this weekend in Dulwich, London. More info HERE...
