In partnership with Green Built Alliance and Land of the Sky Association of Realtors, Mary Love of Love the Green Team is instructing a free Eco Realtor Course one week from today.
Offering continuing education credits, the "Environmental Issues Resources for Healthy Choices" CE will inform you on issues that can become material facts. It will also review best practices concerning indoor and outdoor environmental concerns. Upon completion, you will have the resources to provide your clients with basic information and refer them to local experts concerning various environmental concerns.

Get Involved at Upcoming Meeting of the Asheville Living Building Challenge Collaborative
Please join us at the next meeting of the Asheville Living Building Challenge Collaborative (Avl LBCC) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar, 1 Page Avenue, Asheville NC 28801.
As part of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), the Avl LBCC is currently focusing its energy on creating a larger and more active collaborative. The intention is to reengage and reinvigorate the community with regular meetings and projects, such as creating a materials catalog and hosting workshops about Living Building Challenge and other green-design principles, among other ideas.

Explore Climate Impacts on Respiratory Health In Event at The Collider in November

Green Built Alliance joins Clean Air Carolina, The Collider and CASE Consultants International in sponsoring "Climate and Respiratory Health: Focus on Asthma," from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at The Collider in Asheville.
With collaboration from NOAA's Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites, this event brings together climate scientists, environmental health specialists, public health experts, technologists, and healthcare professionals to focus on the impact of the current and future weather and the environment on respiratory health. |

Participants will learn about climate impacts on respiratory conditions from the perspective of a climate scientist, the status of respiratory illness in North Carolina and the U.S. from a public health practitioner, as well as new tools and digital applications from a technology provider.

Come Out to Highland Brewing Next Thursday When Each Beer Benefits Green Built Alliance
Green Built Alliance is Highland Brewing's featured nonprofit for the month of October. Highland will donate $1 of every pour to our nonprofit from 3 to 9 pm Thursday, Oct. 26.
Highland will also have live music that night. Come network and celebrate community with us, and enjoy a beverage to benefit us. Thanks to Highland Brewing for continuing to support the work we do in the community!
