Please can you join me in saying a huge thank you to Mary Kahn.

Over the past months Mary has helped me to develop and shape Lyme Bay Ladies and the launch of the website . Her wealth of local knowledge and expertise has been greatly received by our members, in particular the premium business ladies.

Mary does a huge amount within our community and will be concentrating on her many other commitments.

Hopefully you will get the opportunity to thank her in person at a future coffee morning or event.

Website Updates

There is now a list of all the exclusive offers and discounts from our business members. Go to the Business Directory and there is a link at the top of the page. Click here.
Business Members - this list needs to be manually updated and will be checked at intervals but if you change your offer you can always email info@lymebayladies.co.uk and it can be updated immediately.

There is also now a full list of upcoming events. Go to Future Events and above the calendar you can click for list of 2017 dates.

We have been meeting up at various events over the past few weeks......

We had coffee at The Clock Tower Cafe in Sidmouth, a lovely morning of yoga and make up with Hannah & Hayley at Lovegrove Essentials and then a very wet LBL walk from Rousdon!

Then coffee talks at The Black Dog and Symondsbury Estate from Wendy Lowis Bates on Goals & Dream Setting and Dawn Crossingham on Stepping Out of your Comfort Zone

As a regular feature of our newsletter we will be focusing on some of our Premium Members. This month we would like to introduce Helen James from Nutriri.

Hello fellow LBLs

Would you like to be part of changing how many of us think about our own bodies? Do you see a link perhaps between your business and a positive body acceptance theme?

Or maybe you'd just like to come and watch an amazing mindset changing film and have a great night. (link at bottom)

On 9th March we shall be hosting a screening of Embrace, a body image movement docufilm, at Lyme Regis’ Marine Theatre. Nutriri* designs workshops to enable everyone to be more at ease around food and themselves - i.e. stop dieting! Can you imagine how many more customers would approach your offer whilst not restrictive eating and fearing food?

For each attendee we would like to be able to gift a goody bag full of body & food positive samples or vouchers representing your business. Although Nutriri* is a lottery funded project your business does not need to be a social enterprise or charity to be eligible to contribute to this one off event.

The theatre seats up to 220 audience members and Nutriri* is a movement all about ending restrictive dieting and promoting genuine body positivity; can you see a link with your business?

Don’t worry if 220 is too high a sample/voucher number; we hope to engage with similar suppliers and offer a variety between the goody bags.

If you would like to feature a larger ‘prize’ we shall be encouraging movie goers to look through their goody bags to find if they've been lucky enough to win - let us know.
