August 2016
We're woefully late in getting our newsletter out this month so I'll keep it brief to get it out before too much more on the calendar passes!

Everything we are able to accomplish is due to the dedication and financial and hand-on support from our volunteer board, members, and partners. This past month we would like to thank the following individuals and organizations:
  • The Park Crawl continues in partnership with Near West Rec and leadership of Steve Kachmyers and Katie Zucca. If you are available on the next two Friday mornings, there is always fun to be had with a great group of kids, parents, and caregivers. Check out the flyer above for each week's location and activity.
  • The Annual Ice Cream Social series wouldn't have been possible without the support of LAND Studio! The NWFN volunteers joyfully had out ice cream to all who attend. Thanks to Ann Garland, Patti Skrha, Amy Kulisheck, Katherine Readey, and Katie Zucca taking on that role. Thanks also to Masons Creamery for providing the ice cream and scooping at tonight's (last) social of the season!
