Dear AIMC members and friends,
The current edition of our newsletter brings us straight into Autumn via presentation of the Summer mosaic events.
Still with a wonderful aftertaste of the Spilimbergo experience, we now begin focusing on the next congress, which will take place in September 2018 in Lyon and Paray-le-Monial, France, with the collaboration of Mosaïque Contemporaine Rhône-Alpes based in Lyon, Maison de la Mosaïque Contemporaine in Paray-le-Monial, and Mosaïque Magazine.
To honor our new hosts, we will soon inaugurate one more edition of the newsletter, which will be published in French as well as Italian and English, thanks to the initiative of our member Beatrice Propetto Marzi, translator-interpreter.

Today, July 6, 2016, are happy to be able to complete a gesture that for many years I had in mind to do:
the donation of the emblem Trevignano Romano, in mosaic.
I promised since 1988 to implement it and donate it to the City, before going very advanced in years and since last month I made it 73, I am pleased to have transferred today, the commitment that I had assigned.
 It was 1998, in fact, when for the first time the Mayor of the time: Dr. Rolando Luciani, asked me to research the historical source and origins from which to take inspiration to create a mosaic for our City, the emblem of Trevignano to be included under the clock bow in space already set up during the restructuring phase and planning the new square and the Town Hall. I gave the task of carrying out the research to my daughter, Luisa Decorti . . . (more)

Submission prerequisites:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you submit.
