Thanks to everyone who came out to our largest annual fundraiser, CiderFest NC, last month. The fourth annual event was our biggest and best CiderFest yet, increasing attendance by 150 percent with more than 1,200 guests on hand and generating four times as much revenue for our nonprofit as it did last year. Enjoy A Night at the Theater and Help Us Reach Fundraising Goal for Appalachian Offsets Project

Earlier this fall, we were excited to announce the long-awaited relaunch of our Appalachian Offsets program for the community. We soon identified our first project of upgrading Blue Ridge Group Homes‘ lighting to more energy-efficient LED lamps. The $16,000 project will result in a savings of 57,047 kilowatt hours and $5,018 in energy costs annually, and is only $500 from being fully funded.

To help us complete fundraising for this project, Charlotte Street Computers has generously donated 50 tickets for us to sell to Asheville Community Theatre's holiday show, "Snowbound," a world-premiere play including original live bluegrass music. We are selling these 50 tickets at $10 each to raise the last $500 for this worthy project. Your ticket purchase can help get us there!

What: Fundraising performance of "Snowbound" to support energy-efficiency upgrade project at Blue Ridge Group Homes
Where: Asheville Community Theatre, 35 East Walnut St.
When: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15
How much: 50 tickets available at $10 each to raise the final $500

Reserve your seat by donating $10 at this link on our website for each ticket you'd like to buy. Once we receive your donation, we will follow up with you for information to mail your tickets or make them available for pick-up at our office, based on your preference.
