Help Us Close $7,000 Gap to Complete Fundraising for Isaac Dickson Solar System

With more than a year of fundraising behind us,
our nonprofit's Appalachian Offsets program is nearing the finish line in fundraising to install the
$1 million solar system that will make Isaac Dickson Elementary School a net-zero energy building.

After securing a $59,000 contribution toward the project in June thanks to Asheville City Schools allocating a rebate from Duke Energy, we are now only $7,000 away from our $220,000 goal.

We also have a matching donor in place so all of your contributions to this project go twice as far.

Whether you want to use our calculators to offset all or part of the carbon footprint of your home and/or your business, or donate any other amount,
we appreciate your help in reaching our goal!

Help Us Create Green-Building Education Area and Promote Your Company at CiderFest 2018

This fall will mark the sixth annual celebration of CiderFest NC, which remains our nonprofit's largest fundraiser. The event has grown each year since it began in 2013. This year's CiderFest is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

This year, we are excited to be expanding our event to occupy the entire Salvage Station venue and welcome a record-setting 2,000 guests. As part of that growth, we plan to use Salvage Station's main building as a green-building education area for our with vendor booths offering interactive demos of related products, mini-workshops
and screenings of short films related to sustainability.

We can think of no better way to share green
building with the public than through our members' participation in our largest event. We are making a limited number of vendor tables available for $100 each to members interested in promoting their company and offering educational demos.
All table fees and event proceeds benefit our nonprofit.

Tables are limited and first come, first served.
Email Cari Barcas to reserve your spot today.
